An international leader in natural resources education, research, and outreach and provides natural resources information and service to the citizens and stakeholders of Nebraska. TPCP staff are employees of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and are housed in the School of Natural Resources.

Nebraska Games and Parks Commission
Nebraska Games and Parks Commission is the principal state agency responsible for administering the Nebraska Non-Game and Endangered Species Conservation Act. The Non-Game Bird Programs is responsible for all species of birds found in Nebraska that are not eligible to be hunted.

Works to conserve, enhance and restore the natural environments of Nebraska; a prosperous future requires a sound natural environment.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
The principal federal agency responsible for administering the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and other wildlife laws.

In schools and communities across Nebraska, the Girl Scouts-Spirit of Nebraska offers girls the opportunity the "Take Action to Save the Planet" through the "Girl Scouts Forever Green" program.

Lower Platte River Corridor Alliance
Dedicated to protecting the long-term vitality of the 110 mile Lower Platte River Corridor through public education, land-use planning and research.

Lower Platte South Natural Resources District
Works to conserve, develop and manage the water and land resources for the common good of all people.

Papio-Missouri Natural Resources District
Protects ground and surface water, reduces flood threats, slows soil erosion and enhances wildlife habitat to enhance Nebraska's natural resources.

Lower Platte North National Resource District
Dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and wise use of our natural resources.
Cooperators

Based in Columbus, is a public power utility that operates hydroelectric power generation and electricity transmission and distribution services.

(including Central Sand and Gravel) produces sand, gravel, concrete and other construction material at sites across Nebraska.

Materials (dba Mallard Sand and Gravel) mines aggregates at a site along the Platte River near Valley.

(a subsidiary of NEBCO) Mines aggregate at sites along the Platte River near Fremont, Ashland and Louisville. Most of the mining product is concrete aggregate, but other products including coarse rock used in landscaping to fine-grained sands used for golf courses are produced.

(a subsidiary of NEBCO) Mines mostly concrete aggregate and gravel near Central City, Waco Clarks and Silver Creek; coarse landscaping rock and fine sand are also produced.
(a subsidiary of Preferred Sands) Mines silica sand at a facility near Genoa for use in the filtration, frac and proppant sand industries. The sand is also used in the glass, geothermal, and solar panel industries, and for recreation (i.e. golf courses, playing fields).

Lower Platte River Weed Management Area
Works with property owners along the Lower Platte River to deal with invasive plants and improve stream flow by managing vegetation in riparian areas.
